Coach Yan is the co-founder and training director of Run Soleus Club. A certified running coach based in the Philippines, he brings over a decade of experience in the sport.
He has received training from globally recognized coaching institutions and has built a successful track record in developing athlete performance for both local and international races. His expertise spans all levels of runners, from beginners to competitive athletes.

It was definitely hard and pushed me to the limit. 5 months ago, I spent lots of training, reckless training, just to beat the Sub-50 barrier for 10 kms. It took me more than 6 months just to set a PR under 53 mins. But with the Red Line Project training program, it only took me 3 months to set a PR under 49 mins! It’s crazy how it shaved off almost 5 mins in just a short period of time. Not only does it improve your speed, but it also improves your discipline and approach for running. He’s also empathic. Kaiser D.Ever since nag start yung training sa RLP, parang every other week may PR ako! Sobrang nag improve rin talaga HR ko. Even yung smartwatch ko di na maka keep up. Kelangan lang talaga maging consistent at mag show up sa training kasi para sayo rin yon kundi, kakainin ka sa speed sessions ni Coach haha! Madali siya ma-approach even with quick encounters sa oval. No sugarcoating, di niya nakakalimutan mapansin if good execution or consistent ka sa training. Most importantly, prio niya ang health/safety & recovery over pushing for results para iwas injury na rin.

LigayaSobrang calm and practical. He will not force you to meet the training expectations agad, hahayaan ka lang niyang i-execute yung assignments without pressure. Kapag may questions, he’ll make sure na maeexplain niya sa level na maiintindihan mo. Im happy that coach Yan is a big part sa learning process ko sa running, without him and RSC, siguro Im just some another runners na always chasing sa PR or laging naka-register sa races without a concrete goal kung bakit ako tumaktakbo. Ang dami ring na-correct/naimprove, lalo na yung mindset, from “kaya ko ba?” to “kaya ko yan and its just another long run”.
