RSC Maintains “Perfect Finish” Record at TBR Dream Marathon 2026

ALABANG, MUNTINLUPA — Thousands of aspiring marathoners descended upon the roads of Filinvest City on Sunday, February 15, 2026, to fulfill months of rigorous preparation at the InLife-TBR Dream Marathon 2026. The 15th edition of this annual event continued its legacy as a dedicated platform for first- and second-time marathoners, emphasizing guided training, inclusive community ties, and the achievement of the coveted 42.195-kilometer distance.

Among the participants, the club delivered another standout performance, successfully maintaining its perfect streak of producing marathon finishers every year. Every participating club member who started the race successfully crossed the finish line. They described the race results as a testament to their training commitment, highlighting months of progressive mileage and consistent accountability that allowed them to compete with both confidence and competence.

Individual honors within the club went to Igi Osuna of #MarathonProject, who finished first among the male members, while Diane Castro of #RunningDivision led the female contingent across the finish line.

While the Filinvest circuit is celebrated for its lush greenery and master-planned “garden city” atmosphere, it remains widely regarded by the local running community as a deceptively technical course. Defined by its “rolling” topography, the route presents steady inclines that frequently disrupt a runner’s rhythm, demanding high cardiovascular endurance and strategic pacing. The complexity of the Sunday race was further heightened by the sudden downpour of rain & shifts in temperature. These factors delivered a grueling test of strength and endurance to participants as they neared the final stages of the marathon.

Despite the persistent rain showers and the long, grueling hours of the event, the spirit of the RSC community remained steadfast. Large groups of club members & family members flocked to the course to cheer and provide a much-needed motivational and logistical support. Our RSC members braved the rain to ensure that the club participants felt their support at every loop, turning the damp morning into a vibrant display of camaraderie in the running community.

As the TBR Dream Marathon 2026 concludes with a record-breaking field, it reaffirms its status as a transformative force in the local running scene. By providing a structured and supportive environment, it continues to turn the ambitious dream of becoming a marathoner into a reality for everyday runners.

Congratulations to all TBR Dream Marathon 2026 finishers!
